29 December This is the end beautiful friend, this is the end my only friend... [Music from Apocalyse now ] The last day started at 07.00, because the meeting was at 8.00. Our instructor provided us with special clothes and a Snowmobile. Ohhh great, wonderful and speed!!!! During a lot of time (When I though that the trip was finished, we were less than the half of the trip) First forest, later lake (speed, speed), forest, mountain, great landscape and return. The best ???? The lakes. In the forest, the speed is 10-20km/h. In the lake, We was at 104km/h. Wow. We made 2 teams: the French-Italian and the Russian-Spanish. Ahh, one advice: try to be the last, because you can control better your movements. 28 December This day started at 09.00. The taxi (cab) took us in front of our sweet home. The Dog sled was near and near ... What can I say about it ??? Dog Sled is crazy funny for 2 hours ;-) And too fast (also you should break all the time, because the dogs always want more and more speed). We started in the house of the family, wearing the special clothes. Later, the boss opened the cage of the crazy dogs. And the tour started !!! The landscape was great. And is very amusing when you fall and the dogs don't stop ;-) And the end, we enjoyed the best FIKA of the world. 27 December The day started at 08.30. After a quick breakfast, we visited a Sami village . The place had a lot of snow, so we only can visit the buildings. Time to play with the snow, make angels, throw people ... The Sami Flag: We had to return to the town, so we chose the shortest way: Go over a frozen lake (my first time). It was cool, cold and a little stressful when we realize that the ice was little melted. But we arrive safe and sound. In the town, we went to the Tourist information Office. There, we arranged the activities for the next days: Dog Sled and Snowmobile. "What can we do?", Therese asked. "Go to the hill and see the sunset". So, we walked to the hill until the moment that we found a new toy: The sled. Alone, by pairs, trying to be the fastest, trying to not crash, trying to crash .... During the last 4 days, we (Michele, Therese, Sasha and me) were in Arjeplog , a little village of Sweden. We had a lot of fun, as you can see in this small journal. That is the first day: 26 December 10.31 Local Bus from Andreaskyrkan (Bjorskatan) to Prästgatan (Luleå bus station). 7 minutes. 11.05 Regional bus . Line 31 to Älvsbyn busstation 12.05 Stop in Älvsbyn . In the same bus, the number of the line changed from Line 21 to Line 31. 13.10 Stop in Arvidsjaur . We went for a walk around the village 14.00 Departure from Arvidsjaur to Arjeplog in Line 200. 15.00 Arrive in Arjeplog 15.10 Arrive in our new home, the Hostel Fjällgården.
